We recently splurged and got ourselves a vitamix. (standard 5200) Our juicer, which makes wonderful juices, is not the easiest to prep and clean up. Because of it, we were juicing less and less. So, with our new improved machine, we are finding ourselves making green smoothies every day! It has been our go-to breakfast. Health is worth the investment and in the end, we are spending way less money on BUYING already made smoothies/juices. Here is one that we’ve been loving:
One avocado, juice of one lemon, ginger (anti-inflammatory!), two handfuls of spinach, and one peach. For our liquid, we’ve been using coconut water. We stick to one cup of fruit to limit sugar.
